Tools manufactured at De Boer are grouped into five broad
categories with a full line of coatings
available.
* A large selection of standard
tools.
* A full High Velocity tool line for
milling hardened steels. These include ball nose, radius and flat bottoms
in regular length, long reach and tapered shank
configurations.
* Diamond coated tools both long
reach and X-long reach.
* A line of specialty
aluminum roughing and finishing tools with proprietary geometry and technology
to eliminate chattering and ‘roping’ in tight corners or large cutting surface
applications.
Custom tooling production is increasing rapidly and is
now making up over 50% of De Boers manufacturing. Fully automated manufacturing
processes coupled with controlled inventory programs allow customers to receive
significantly discounted volume pricing without large investments in tooling.
